PTU Counselling 2020
PTU Counselling 2020 schedule is going to be released very soon for different courses. As in the last year in 2020 there is no separate entrance test for getting admission to the PTU affiliated colleges the same will also be expected this year in 2020. The students who are looking to get admission in PTU affiliated colleges must have to clear the counselling process conducted by the I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. This year in 2020 the University will organise a centralized counselling process for admission in various courses like Engineering, Pharamcy, Architecture, MBA, MCA, Journalism and Mass Communication, Agriculture, Fashion, BBA, Hospitality Management, Applied Science etc. for University itself and for the colleges affiliated to I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University. On the basis of JEE Main 2020 students will get admission for the engineering courses and so on.
About IKGPTU – I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University
PTU was established on 16th January 1997, to promote higher and quality education in the field of engineering, management, technology and Pharma Science. Later in the year 2015 it was renamed as I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University by State Government in the honor to Late Sh. Inder Kumar Gujral, the former Prime Minister of India.
PTU 2020 Counselling
To get admission in PTU Campus and PTU Affiliated colleges students have to fill PTU Online Registration Form 2020 by paying the registration fees. To participate in the online PTU Counselling process 2020 students have to visit the official website of the I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University i.e. https://www.ptu.ac.in/ .
Eligibility Criteria (Resident Status) for admission
85 % seats shall be open for Punjab state candidates for UGC (Non – AICTE) courses. Admission will be made on the basis of rank prepared.
