The Workshop was hosted by Universal Institute of Management & Technology on “IMPACT OF GST” .The workshop had brainstorming sessions facilitated by eminent resources persons on the subtopics apart from presentation.
The workshop was held on 27.09.2017(Wednesday) in seminar hall of admin block from 11.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M.
Mr.Harsimran Singh,Inspector, GST Audit Commisionerate, Chandigarh as Speaker and Mr. Anil Khanna, Chartered Accountant, Proprietor of M/s J.R.Khanna & Co.,as Chief Guest ,were the renowned personalities to grace the occasion.
They have delivered that Goods & Services Tax Law in India is a comprehensive, multi-stage, destination-based tax that will be levied on every value addition.
GST is an indirect tax levied on the supply of goods and services. GST Law has replaced many indirect tax laws that previously existed in India.
They shared their views on mechanism of GST implementation, its advantages over cascading effect.
Overall it was an interactive and immense knowledge sharing session.
