Universal College of Pharmacy was established in the year 2023 which offers Undergraduate and Diploma Courses in Pharmacy. The students are provided with well-stocked laboratories equipped with instruments like Brookfield Viscometer, UV-VIS Spectrophotometer, HPLC, Dissolution Apparatus, Rotary Tablet Punching Machine, Planetary Mixer, Granulator Filter press, Orifice, Venturi Meter and an Herbal Garden. During the course, the students study manufacturing of dosage forms, pharmaceuticals, marketing management, drug development and analysis, community pharmacy and drug regulatory affairs. After the course completion, students can work as Pharmacist and also in Pharmaceutical industries under various sections like Production, Quality Control and Quality Assurance. By providing practicality to students during the course, the faculty and students have been able to develop products such as Hand Sanitizer, Aloe Vera Gel, Hand Wash, Calamine Lotion, drugs etc.

B-Pharmacy
- Duration: 4 Years
- Total Seats: 60
Admission Criteria: Minimum 50% marks for general category & 45% marks for other categories.
Eligibility: Candidates with 10+2 examination (science academic stream) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics or Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the above examination. Provide that there shall be reservation of seats for the Scheduled Castes and the scheduled Tribes candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government /State Governments / Union territory administrations as the case may be from time to time.
B. Pharmacy is an Undergraduate Degree Course in the pharmacy field.
D-Pharmacy
- Duration: 2 Years
- Total Seats: 60
Eligibility: Candidates with 10+2 examination (science academic stream) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics. Or any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the above examination. Provided that there shall be reservation of seats for the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government /State Governments / Union territory administrations as the case may be from time to time. A Student should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.
D. Pharmacy is a Diploma Course affiliated by the Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh, and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India.
Facilities at Campus
Herbal Hub: Universal College of Pharmacy has maintained an herbal garden in which a number of medicinal plants and herbs are planted for students that helps them to prepare herbs-based eatables and put-up stalls and sell their products. This activity enhances the marketing skills and team work of students.
Collaborations: An MOU is signed with Park Hospital, Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals, Global heart & Indus Super speciality Hospital, Shivam Diagnostic Centers For the pharmaceutical exposure.
Medical Camp: Regular medical camps are organized in Ballopur, Lalru and nearby villages in the range of 50 kilometres whereby free health check-ups and medicines are offered to the community.
Seminars/Conferences: There are several seminars / conferences conducted on the latest avenues and researches in the field of diabetes, cancer and so on which prepare the students for advanced research in the pharmaceutical field and widen their horizon of thinking.
Research: Universal College of Pharmacy has highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated professors who guide students not only in academics but also in research and practical applications. Faculty and students have published many papers in national and international journals.
Placements: Our students have been able to secure placements at different Pharmacy companies with a package of approximately 5 to 7 Lacs and at different hospitals are also few of the organizations where pharmacy students are placed.
Blood Donation Camps: In collaboration with Red Cross, Chandigarh & other hospitals, the Pharmacy students get hands- on learning by organising and participating in Blood Donation Camps.
HOSTEL FACILITY
Universal College of Pharmacy has separate hostels for boys and girls. All hostels are provided with 24*7 purified water supply and power back-up . Each hostel has a common room that provides facilities for indoor recreation and games. Each hostel has a warden to look after their daily basis needs and also provides support throughout their staying tenure.
