Electronics & Communication Engineering
The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering provides M. Tech in ECE which is approved by AICTE and affiliated to PTU, Jalandhar. Electronics and Communication Engineering is an interdisciplinary subject and covers Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, IT and Computers. As a discipline it finds applications in many areas, as Industrial automation, embedded system, DSP and Biomedical Equipments. The department has well developed laboratories and has been continuously growing since its establishment with an aim of preparing the students to excel in industry and be successful in higher studies. Emphasis is on developing the ability to synthesize data and Technical concept for application to product design. The department has indigenously developed MEMS/Microelectronics R & D Lab which is unique feature in the region.
