UNIVERSAL LAW COLLEGE

The Universal Law College under the aegis of Universal Group of Institutions organized a Parliament visit on 3rd, November 2023. A one-day visit was organized for the law students of B.A.LL.B and LL.B courses of all semesters to the Parliament of India (both old and new) as a part of an educational trip. The purpose of the trip was to make students understand the working of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Dr. Raghab Dass, Joint Secretary of Rajya Sabha, gave a warm welcome to all the students and faculty members. The students visited various chambers of the parliament and also saw the central hall and were excited to know more about the structure and working of the Parliament. A special lecture was also delivered by honourable Mr. to enlighten the students on the working of different bills as well as the powers of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha associated with the same. The experience of the visit was a memorable time not just for witnessing its adorned architecture but also by learning more about the Indian law and working of the legislature proceedings. The students were accompanied by Dr. Inderpreet Kaur (Principal, Universal Law College) and the entire team of faculty members as well to ensure the inclusive environment for tour management. The event was coordinated by Dr. Raman Pamboo (HOD, Universal Law College). Universal Law College has always taken efforts to provide students with an exposure to the various outdoor experiences to be adapted with the workings of the world. The Chairman, Dr. Gurpreet Singh and Executive Director, Mrs. Kawanljeet Kaur of Universal Group of Institutions congratulated and blessed students and staff of the Universal Law College for successfully completing this mesmerizing Parliament Visit.
