UCACS organised a visit to Indian Meterological Centre

The students of B.Sc(Agriculture)and 2 faculty members went to the agricultural visit on 8th ocotober 2015. They started from the college at 11:00 am & reached at destination around 12:30 pm. During the visit, the experts have elaborated the functioning of various instruments used in agriculutre including high tech computer system connected with weather forecasting unit of states including Punjab, Haryana & Chandigarh. They also gave exertise to the students about the Sun shine records, Wind wane Anemometer, Thermometers etc.
While visiting to the meterlogical observatory, the student had great learnig experience. They also came to know about how to record the different meterlogical parameters for future use in agriculture. Director, Shr. Surinder Pal, also interacted personally with the students and aprised the students about the meterological career by the way of Agriculture course. They arrived back to the college at 4:00 pm.
