UCACS celebrated International Women's Day

Universal College, Ballopur celebrated International Women’s Day by organizing a Poster Making & Declamation Competition based on ‘Tribute to Mother’. Dr. L.K. Attri, HOI along
with all faculty members attended the programme. During first part of the event a Poster Making Competition was organized. Students from different courses participated in this competition. The posters made by the students were displayed in the Seminar Hall.
In the second part of the event a Declamation Contest was conducted. More than 30 students expressed their views on topic “Tribute to Mother & Women Empowerment”. Both
competitions were judged by panel of three members. The HOI, Dr L.K. Attri delivered a speech on this occasion. He emphasized the importance of women in our society besides motivating the students to participate in such competitions. The best students were awarded by Dr. L.K. Attri with mementos & gifts in the presence of faculty members, Mr. Sunil Kumar, Mr. Dalip Kumar, Ms. Punam Gupta, Ms. Richa Sharma etc. At the end a vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Kuldeep Singh.
