Universal College organised an orientation day on 10 th August, 2016

Universal College, Ballopur, Lalru organised an orientation day on 10 th August 2016 for the new session 2016-2017. The main objective of the program was to make the students more familiar with their academic aspects through our institutions, virtual route of institution followed by actual trip to college. The program was started at about 11:30 am by the most auspicious lamp lighting ceremony, where Head of Institutions, Faculty members and the parents have participated.

 

Afterwards, the Head of Institutions Dr. L.K Attri interacted with new students and apprised them about the College decorum besides motivated them for professional approach. Apart from this, a formal power point presentation of various slides includes Aim of the institution, Infrastructure, Organisational Structure, facilities available (Hostels, Cafeteria, Transportation, Medical) Organisational Structure, Rules and Regulations etc.

 

The PowerPoint presentation was intervened by the introductory session of the newly admitted students where the students gave a brief introduction of themselves. As a part of occasion, importance of NSS had also been explained to the students and they were motivated to work for the society. On the spot Registration for NSS had also been done, where students showed great enthusiasm.

 

The event was then concluded with the remarks by the Head of Institution, Dr. L.K Attri. Lastly, the students were sit their respective classes and a brief course plan and curriculum was discussed by the respective in-charges.

 

All the faculty members including Mr. Sunil Kumar (NSS Coordinator & HOD Arts Dept.), Dr. Ravindra Nath (HOD, Agriculture Dept.), Mr. Dalip Kumar (HOD, Commerce Dept.), Ms. Punam Gupta (Incharge B.Sc(Agri)-II), Mr. Kuldeep Singh (Incharge B.Com-II), Ms. Richa Sharma (Incharge B.Com-I), Mr. N. Romen Singh (Incharge B.Sc(Agri)-I), Ms. Chani Bhalla (Incharge B.A-I) and Ms. Manisha put their best efforts to made the programme a great success.
