UIET with UPC celebrated Engineer's Day on the theme of "Engineering Challenges for the Era of Knowledge"

Universal Institute of Engineering and Technology with Universal Polytechnic College celebrated "Engineer's Day" on the theme of "Engineering Challenges for the Era of Knowledge" on 15 th September inside the campus of Universal Group of Institutions. Hon'ble Chairman (Dr.) Gurpreet Singh shared his views about the "Engineer’s Day" and he stressed upon that today engineers need to specify their aspirations in order to become successful engineers of the future. He told that this "Engineer’s Day" is celebrated in the remembrance of renowned pre-eminent, scholar and Bharat Rattan awarded Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvarya.
Worthy Director Academics (Dr.) Veriinder Kaur, Director Engineering (Dr.) Tarun Kumar Lohani, Principal UPC (Dr.) Satish Kumar Malik, all the faculty members and students were present during this occasion. In addition, engineering students from UIET and UPC displayed various projects on this day such as voting system management, Automatic controlling of light intensity of vehicles during night, wall climber, Sewage treatment plant and smart city etc. Students arranged all the cultural, Technical and non-technical evens for the day. Finally, Worthy Director Academics payed a vote of thank to all the organizers, participants and students who became the part of this engineering day.
