Universal Group of Institutions organised Induction Program for New Faculty Members

Today on 3rd January 2019, Universal Group of Institutions initiated a three days Induction Program for the readiness of upcoming academic session of 2019. This program took place at the green and beautiful campus of UGI. Hon'ble Chairman (Dr.) Gurpreet Singh initiated the session while addressing to all the participants. He quoted Socrates' words "The more I know, the more I realize I know nothing!" in the opening of his address. By this he stressed on the roles and responsibilities of a contemporary teacher. He stressed on to shift the orthodox teaching style with twenty first century style. He stated towards the personal and professional growth of every teachers who need to be cope up with the current crises of providing value education to the adults. He finally told the secret of success of time management of twenty four hours and high interest in the assigned work. Further, the Guest speaker of the day was Brigadier (Dr.) Rajwant Sing Grewal (former VC Manipal University). From his fifty five years of experience in the field of academics and administration, he demonstrated the overall preview of teaching style, needs, objectives and outcomes of day to day classroom lectures delivered to the students by teacher. He very beautifully explored the roles and responsibilities of a contemporary teacher. While summing up his lecture, he mentioned that work with proper planning, clarity and dedication always helps to produce the desired outcome from an adult. At the end, Director Academics (Dr.) Virender Kaur gave vote of thanks to all who were the part and parcel of the day one.
