Universal Law College organised Intra Moot Court Competition in the Campus

First spectacular "Intra Moot Court Competition-2018"- organised by Universal Law College, Lalru. Universal Group of Institutions, Lalru opened new doors of practical experience for Law graduate students during their college time by providing them first "Intra Mot Court – Competition-2018" which was being organized by Universal Law College in its alluring and green campus. While exploring the motto of UGI (Learn, Achieve and Excel) Hon’ble Chairman (Dr.) Gurpreet Singh proved time and again by providing International level educational expenditure to every student. He always remains in the quest of providing values based education policies to the students. During this Competition, he stressed on increasing number of injustice, malpractice, lack of lawyers and judges in our country and urged all the futuristic lawyers to be getting ready for curving all such sins from our society. Further, "Moot Court Competition-2018" took place for more than five hours like a real court proceedings. This competition was presided over by Advocate Vikrant Singh (Standing member of Bar Council of Derabassi), Advocate Saurav Kumar and Advocate Saini Singh along with (Dr.) Varinder Kaur (Director Academics, UGI) and (Dr.) Manpreet Grewal (Principal Universal Law College). In addition, this "Moot court Competition-2018" was mainly concerned about to providing exposure in advance and to provide practical knowledge about the real court proceedings to all law students. For achieving this purpose, total six teams, three members in each were prepared. i.e. the Appellants and the Respondents have been prepared from law graduate students itself.

 

Finally, the best team, the best mooter and the best memorial was awarded with trophies. The winning teams were from respondent side the team of Archana Chauhan, Mehak Gupta and Harmeet and from appellants side Sarasmi, Divya and Bhawna whereas the best mooter was Archana Chauhan and the best memorial won by the team of Jayant, Aakash and Gurleen.
