UGI organised a symposium on "Interim Budget" in the campus

Today, Universal group of Institutions, Lalru organised a symposium on "Interim Budget" in the campus. Hon’ble Chairman (Dr.) Gurpreet Singh initiated this event with his visionary approach towards providing valuable and updated academics to the students. This symposium was planned and executed by Universal Institute of Management and Technology. Mr. Sanjeev Gupta Chief General Manager, SML ISUZU (corporate sector) was invited as chief guest of the day whereas Mr. Vijay Principal Correspondent, the Tribune Chandigarh (Media Sector) and Dr. Rajiv Khosla Associate Professor, IOM (PU), D.A.V. Chandigarh (Academician) were guest of honor of this event.

 

In addition, issues related to contemporary financial expenditure and receipts of our country were the major concern of the talk. While delivering the lecture, Mr. S. Gupta shared his view on Income Tax slabs, Income from house property, tax limit increased from 3.5 lakhs to 5 lacks, TDS limit, Standard deductions and section 54 exemptions etc. On the other side, guest of honor also explored the topic and expressed their valuable views on the above quoted issues. They exemplify the current scenario and appreciated the allocations of budgets for upcoming financial year. Moreover, Chairman UGI (Dr.) Gurpreet Singh also represented that how this interim budget will be beneficiary for the all the sections of our country. Finally, Director Academics (Dr.) Virender Kaur summed up the symposium by giving a vote of thank to all participant, organizers and guest of the event.
