The International Day of Peace, also known as World Peace Day is celebrated around the world to strengthen the ideals of peace, through observing 24 hours of non-violence and cease-fire. Universal Group of institute celebrated the "Peace Day" to join the efforts of the United Nations family as we focus on recovering better for a more equitable and peaceful world. On this occasion ,Dr. Kalpana Thakur, Chairperson of IETVE,Panjab University, Chandigarh gave the inspirable lecture on the peace day .She highlighted the atmosphere of unrest during post Covid 19 in the world and threw light on the importance of peace among the people. She says,"Violence is prevailing in the world and there is need of inner peace of human beings too. Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Chairman of UGI gave his warm wishes to the staff and the students on this august occasion. Vote of thanks was extended by the Principal Universal College of Education Dr. Kompal Wadhwan. Students also participated and shared their own views on peace and kindness.
