UIN organized a health awareness camp on

Universal Institute of Nursing organized a health awareness camp on "World Kidney Day". The main objectives of the seminar were as follows:-

1) To educate community people regarding Kidney health.

2) To increase awareness of people related to kidney disease.

3) To reduce the burden of kidney disease worldwide.

4) To help the patient and caregivers to be able to assess, understand and use information related to kidney disease.

The students of Universal Institute of Nursing reached at CHC, Lalru at 11:00 am. After taking permission from Nursing Superintendent and SMO we gathered all the public over there and started the event at 11:15 am. Students gave health education to people regarding Chronic Kidney Disease and renal stones, its sign and symptoms and management Students also educated people about diet plan for hypertension and diabetes mellitus. After this Medical Officer Ms. Harleen joined us and educated people regarding Chronic Kidney Disease. At last we concluded the event and cleared all the queries of the people related to kidney health and kidney disease.
