UGI organized an Industrial Visit to Savitry Greens,Zirakpur for Civil department of UIET.

An Industrial visit to Savitry Green  ,V.I.P  Road Zirakpur was organized on 19.09.2014 for the students of 3rd   &  5th  Semester CE Department.

A total of two faculty members & 65 students visited the construction site.

The basic aim of the Industrial visit was to educate students & show them the practical aspects about the following:-

a)      Importance & structure of foundation

b)      Construction of beams & columns

c)      Laying of Brickwork

d)     Checking of quality control of construction material

  1. The visit was very educative & the students understudied all the practical aspects of building construction & related subjects. The students showed their keenness in the whole visit and had interactive sessions with the people involved in the project.
