Interdepartmental Quiz Competition was organised in UGI by Applied Science Department.

Objective:
1. To test students accumulation and retention of knowledge in a real life situation.
2. To encourage independent study and academic excellence.
The Applied Science Department of Universal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ballopur organized an Interdepartmental Quiz Competition at Seminar Hall on 10th Oct, 2014.
Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Chairman of Universal Group of Institutions was the chief guest. Dr. Rachit Garg, Director of Universal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mr. Vikas Sharma, HOD, Applied science, HODs of other departments and other faculty members were also present there.
Students of all departments participated in it. 7 teams of various departments participated in the competition in which students’ of Electrical Department got 1st Position, ECE department grabbed 2nd position. The questions were asked from students on General Science and Current Affairs.
Outcome: Enhanced their knowledge about general awareness and current issues.
